Imperial Burgers

Looking for a laid-back spot with hearty food that actually hits the spot? Check out Imperial Burgers in La Habra. Tucked away at 241 E Imperial Hwy, this local gem is everything you'd want from a classic, no-fuss burger joint—with just enough edge to keep it interesting.

The vibe? Totally casual. It's the kind of place where you can roll in with the kids after a game or catch up with friends over a fat stack of fries. It's got outdoor seating, so if you're into fresh air and burgers under the California sky, you're set. Noise levels are moderate, just enough buzz to feel alive but not so loud you have to shout.

Now let’s talk about the food. If you're a fan of big breakfasts, the Breakfast Burritos are the kind you dream about—massive, loaded, and wrapped just right. Craving something crunchy? Their Fried Zucchini is golden, crispy, and absolutely addictive. But the star of the show? It's got to be the Double Bacon Cheeseburger. Juicy, stacked, and dripping with melty goodness—every bite is a whole experience. Oh, and don’t skip the Pastrami Burrito or the Steak Sandwich if you’re feeling adventurous—they bring serious flavor.

Everything at Imperial Burgers feels made with care, but without the pretentious flair. No tiny portions, no overly fussy plating—just good food that fills you up and leaves you smiling. Whether you're popping in for a quick bite or settling in with your crew, this spot knows how to deliver comfort with a side of charm.

So yeah, next time hunger hits, you know where to head.

I've been coming here for a decade since I moved in the area. I've read so many bad reviews because the older lady here is very straightforward and has no customer service skills. You all need to cry more. You must have never been to a true Chinese or Vietnamese restaurant. If the service is bad, the food is fantastic. That is how you judge a Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant. I believe this to be true at any establishment run by an immigrant. Today as I was getting my fantastic breakfast burrito. The same lady called over a gentleman who've seen some better days. He happened to be walking by. He did not ask for a single thing. She opened her little window, asked to come over from the sidewalk and handed him a tall coffee to warm him up on this cold day. You might not like the way she talks to you, but this is the type of person she is. I will always be a customer here. Also try the chili cheese fries with onions. The chili is made daily from scratch by the same lady.

To me this is place is classic. I love the burgers and fries, onion rings, zucchini etc. I have not had a classic from him I regretted.

Honestly they have the best breakfast burritos in Orange County in my opinion. The hash brown comes out nice and crispy and a good portion burrito. The ingredients are good compared to most spots. Highly recommend

Just moved Into the neighborhood and noticed this place always has a line. Decided to try it. Very good. Ordered the hamburger combo special. Chargrilled burger with fresh lettuce and tomato. I added chili to the fries - Delicious. My sister had the pastrami and onion rings, also very good. Lots of people were ordering the chicken strip combo, hmmm next time. All inall very good. My only negative comments are service is a little slow and no drink refills. But we will be back, good food.

Absolutely fantastic. Been coming here for 30+ years and the quality is still great! The pastrami burrito is as unique as it is excellent! Had the burger for the first time in decades and it was better than I even remembered, seriously top tier! 3 generations of my family adore this spot, and have for 50 years
